I spent my childhood in the 1980s in a Hungarian resort near Lake Balaton. At that time, I witnessed the fall of the Iron Curtain, one of the most important moments of the 20th century, and the subsequent political changes that led to the unification of Europe.
These historical events have had a profound impact on my personality. Having lived in four countries and speaking four languages, I consider myself a true European citizen who believes in an open, democratic and caring society.
After a brief foray into the world of architecture at an architecture faculty, I turned to political science and journalism. In 2002, I graduated in Budapest and then wrote my thesis on the enlargement of the European Union.
Between 2004 and 2015 I worked for the Hungarian RTL Klub television as a reporter and editor of several programs, including the most famous news program in the country, as well as journalistic and entertainment programs. During these years I created reports and short documentaries. At the same time, as a passionate photographer, I developed an interest in videography, which allows me to work independently on my own projects.
My interest in architecture, culture and history led me to Berlin, Germany. In 2015 and 2016 I was a scholarship holder at the Free University of Berlin, where I researched the social and historical aspects of the reconstruction of the Berlin Palace.
In 2017 I moved to Spain to implement a project in tourism promotion in cooperation with the city of Valladolid. As part of this project, the cultural and historical values of the region were represented through interviews and the visual presentation of its cultural heritage. My project "Discover Valladolid" has so far included dozens of interviews with personalities from the province of Valladolid who represent the diversity of the region.
Attracted by the culture and language of the country that I learned, I stayed in Spain to dedicate myself to other cultural projects. In 2021 I published my book "© Valladolid". With its almost 800 photographs and informative texts, the book presents the emblematic places of the capital of the region of Castilla y León.
Also in 2021, in cooperation with ES.ARTE, I shot the 'making of' video of the short film FRUGAL. The video premiered in October 2021 at the Valladolid International Film Week (SEMINCI).
I am currently working on a book to promote regional tourism about the village of Viana de Cega in the province of Valladolid and creating videos for clients in the region, including the artist Amancio Prada and the Círculo Hispano Germánico in Valladolid.
I have been working for Deutsche Welle since 2022.
