I was born and spent my childhood in the 1980s in a Hungarian resort town on Lake Balaton. I witnessed one of the most important moments of the 20th century, the fall of the Iron Curtain and the subsequent process of transformation and unification of Europe.
These historical events have profoundly shaped my personality. Having lived in four countries and speaking four languages allows me to consider myself a true European citizen who believes in an open, democratic and united world.
After studying architecture at university, I turned to political science and journalism. I graduated in Budapest in 2002 and wrote my thesis on the enlargement of the European Union.
From 2004 to 2015 I worked at Hungarian television RTL Klub as a reporter and editor. I was responsible for several programmes, including the most popular news programme in the country, as well as other news and entertainment programmes. During those years I made reports and shot short documentaries. But also, as a passionate photographer, I started to show interest in videography in order to work more independently and carry out my own projects.
My interest in architecture, culture and history took me to Berlin, Germany. During 2015 and 2016 I was the research fellow at the Free University of Berlin, where I was lucky enough to delve into the social and historical aspects of the reconstruction of the Berlin Palace.
In 2017 I moved to Spain with the aim of learning Spanish and launching a tourism project that would try to represent the cultural and historical values of a region like Castilla y León, through the visual presentation of its cultural heritage and conducting interviews with its people. My project ‘Discover Valladolid’ has so far included dozens of characters from the province of Valladolid, who represent the diversity of the region.
During 2021 I published my book ©Valladolid. Through its approximately 800 photographs and informative texts, I have tried to present the emblematic places of the Castilian-Leonese capital.
Also in 2021, and in cooperation with ES.ARTE, I have recorded the ‘making of’ video for the short film FRUGAL, which was premiered at the Valladolid International Film Week (SEMINCI) in October 2021.
I am currently working on a tourist book about the town of Viana de Cega, in the province of Valladolid, after having made videos for clients in the region, including about the singer-songwriter Amancio Prada, and for the Círculo Hispano Germánico de Valladolid.
Since 2022 I have been working for Deutsche Welle, Germany's broadcaster for abroad.
