I spent my childhood in Siófok. Thanks to foreign tourists, Lake Balaton and its surroundings at that time, in the socialist Hungary of the 80s, were a colorful and exciting place open to the outside world. This particular international atmosphere opened up a new world for me and awakened my interest in European cultures from an early age.
I witnessed the fall of the Iron Curtain dividing Europe and the subsequent political changes that led to the unification of the continent. These historical events made a deep impression on me, shaped my world view, shaped my life path, thanks to which Spain is the fourth country that I can call my home, and Spanish is the fourth language in which I communicate on a daily basis. I consider myself primarily a European citizen who believes in an open, democratic and caring society.
After a brief detour at an architecture school, my early attention turned to political science and journalism. I finished my university studies in Budapest in 2002, majoring in political science, and wrote my thesis on the enlargement of the European Union.
Between 2004 and 2015, I worked as a reporter for various programs and as a responsible editor in the News Directorate of the RTL Club. During my years at television, as a passionate photographer, my attention gradually turned to filming and editing, and the desire to start my own projects became stronger and stronger.
In 2015, I moved to Germany, where I was able to research the social debate and historical aspects of the reconstruction of the Royal Palace in Berlin (Berliner Stadtschloss) for a year as a journalist on scholarship at the Freie Universität Berlin.
In 2017, I moved to Spain, where, in addition to learning the Spanish language, I started a cultural-tourism project, the purpose of which - with the help of interviews and publications - was to present the built and cultural heritage of the Valladolid region, which is undeservedly little known abroad. As part of the Discover Valladolid project, I conducted dozens of interviews with local people who, through their work, have contributed to enhancing the reputation of this region.
My book ©Valladolid was published in 2021, which presents the emblematic places of the capital of Castile and León with the help of around 800 photographs and short, informative descriptions.
Also in 2021, in collaboration with the Es.Arte agency, I created FRUGAL. short film work, which will be presented at the Valladolid International Film Week (SEMINCI) in the fall of 2021.
I am currently producing a tourist publication about Viana de Cega in Valladolid County, as well as making videos for local clients, including Amancio Prada, a performer known throughout Spain, and the Spanish-German Cultural Association of Valladolid (Círculo Hispano Germánico).
I have been strengthening the Deutsche Welle team since 2022.
